Aggregate Production

At Al Turki Cement Products L. L. C., it is our infrastructural facilities that make us a leading ready mixed concrete supplier to the construction industry in the Sultanate of Oman.

Our crushers at Halban and Sohar are the single source of aggregates which are used to supply raw materials to our batching plants at Muscat, Halban and Sohar.

With the ever-increasing demand for ready mixed concrete, we have installed an additional crusher plant from METSO, France at Sohar. This new crusher with a production capacity of 450 MTs per hour, has raised the total capacity of our crusher at Sohar to 700 MTs per hour which is the largest in the Sultanate of Oman.

Two crushers each are in operation at Sohar and Muscat (Rumais). The crushers are equipped with machinery from world-renowned companies - namely, Metso, Hazemag and Nordberg of France. The combined production capacity of the crushers at Muscat and Sohar is 1200 MT per hour.

The crushers conduct a crushing operation in three stages - primary, secondary and tertiary. This ensures production of aggregates with desirable physical characteristics. Using state-of-the-art cyclone washing system to wash sand, the silt content is reduced to the permissible limits.

Besides coarse and fine aggregates, granular sub base and aggregate base course materials are also produced. Granular sub base and aggregate base course materials comply with General Specifications for Roads, Sultanate of Oman.
Routine testing of products ensure consistent quality of the crusher materials. Giving great emphasis to quality, the aggregates conform to Omani and BS Standard specifications.
