Ever since the Asphalt Division of Al Turki Cement Products was formed in March 2008, we have been carrying out asphalt surfacing works to the highest international standards of quality.
Presently we have an asphalt batching plant that has a production capacity of 200 tonnes per hour, situated at the Al Turki Crusher in Rumais, near Naseem Gardens, where asphalt is being produced.To keep pace with increasing demand, a new asphalt batching plant with a capacity of 120 tonnes per hour, is currently under construction at our Crusher in Sohar. Our machinery has a systematic laying operation, conducted by four different production personnel. It includes preparation and finishing of sub-base layers, prior to laying the bituminous asphalt surface. At our Asphalt Division, we lay great emphasis on quality. Our qualified personnel at our modern asphalt laboratory monitor the daily production from the mixing plant and also follow up on the paving operation on site. This laboratory is fundamental in assuring our customers Al Turki’s stamp of quality.
Behind our modern fleet of plant and equipment is a team of experienced Supervisors and Foremen who control day-to-day operations. Our asphalt operations are backed by a fleet of large and medium vehicles that are used to haul the mixed products to the laying sites. We also have access to the fleet of Al Turki Enterprises for additional vehicles as and when required.
